Where are you from?

I grew up in the Phoenix area and have basically spent my entire life in the sunny Arizona state.

Why did you choose UA Family Medicine?

During my sub-internship, all the residents were kind, inclusive and invested in my learning. The attendings are approachable and made the day fun and interesting while also getting the work done. The South Campus track provides the education that will set me up to fulfill my career goals.

Outside of medicine, I play tennis and have taken up journaling. I too have fallen into the sourdough trap and currently keeping up with that. I also love hosting board game nights to get people together and watch friendships disintegrate.

What are your professional interests within Medicine?

I’m currently still interested in doing full-spectrum family medicine in an underserved setting. However, Palliative and Addiction Medicine are also interesting fields that I might consider.
