Career Story: 

I completed two fellowships at the U of A after residency one in faculty development and one in the MATCH fellowship (aim is to recruit minority health care providers in administrative roles). After that, I was the medical director of the Family Practice Office for 7 years. I have continued to work with the residency as an attending physician and resident advisor, but am now the U of A's family medicine medical student clerkship director and a Societies mentor for the medical students in the U of A College of Medicine.

Notable Personal Accomplishments: 

Raising 3 children and running a handful of half marathons.

Notable Professional Accomplishments: 

Writing and publishing a manuscript and in the process of writing another manuscript on research with overweight children.

Favorite Recreational Activity: 

Yoga and running

Morning rounds with residents and attendings.

I have 3 children ages 5, 13, and 16.
