Thomas L. Abrams

Career Story: 

After residency, I served a public health service obligation at Brownsville Community Health Center in Brownsville, TX. After returning to Tucson, I joined a group of family physicians called Associates in Family Practice, which grew into a fairly large group and eventually became Carondelet Medical Group (CMG). In 2000, I left CMG and with my partner Dr. Robert Smith and Nurse Practitioner Judy Ingram, Association in Family Practice was reborn under the name of Arizona Community Physicians.

Notable Professional Accomplishments: 

One of Tucson Magazine's "top docs" for 3 years.

Favorite Recreational Activity: 

Travel photography.

Favorite Memory from Residency: 

Getting together for meetings in the basement.

Personal Story: 

Married to Suzanne for 10 years. One son David and stepson Tomm.
