After residency, I served a public health service obligation at Brownsville Community Health Center in Brownsville, TX. After returning to Tucson, I joined a group of family physicians called Associates in Family Practice, which grew into a fairly large group and eventually became Carondelet Medical Group (CMG). In 2000, I left CMG and with my partner Dr. Robert Smith and Nurse Practitioner Judy Ingram, Association in Family Practice was reborn under the name of Arizona Community Physicians.
