Tejal Parikh

Career Story: 

I am currently working at the University of Arizona Campus Health Center and part of my role is to run a satellite clinic at the Arizona Health Science Center campus where I see students from the colleges of nursing, pharmacy and medicine. I also am the co-director for the Rural Faculty Development Fellowship in the Dept of Family and Community Medicine.

Notable Personal Accomplishments: 

Qualified for, ran, and finished the Boston Marathon in 2011.

Notable Professional Accomplishments: 

I like the diversity of my current position being clinically active, teaching and administrative responsibilities.

One of my residency classmates throwing his pager across the call room when we were on call.

Personal Story: 

I have 2 boys, Rajan who is 7 and Deven who is 11. My husband, Kevin, and I keep busy trying to find the "balance" between work and having fun together and with our kids. We all enjoy snorkeling and fishing and have fun exploring new places to do this.
