Tedd Levin

Career Story: 

I am in my 25tth year at Mt. Tabor Family Medical group. I have been at the same practice since completing residency training.I also have 2 part-time jobs. One as the Medical Director/Staff Physician for Wellness Services Dept at Adventist Medical Center; this is the hospital's preventive medicine clinic. My 2nd part time job is as the Center physician for Springdale Job Corps, where I do admission physicals and take care of the medical problems of 16-24 year olds who are doing vocational training.

Notable Personal Accomplishments: 

Raising 3 wonderful children.

Notable Professional Accomplishments: 

Writing the laws regulating smoking in the city of Tucson, putting it on the ballot in 1985, and running the successful political campaign to implement the law.

Favorite Recreational Activity: 

Hiking and traveling.

Favorite Memory from Residency: 

All the faculty was friendly, helpful, with a real sense of camaraderie.

Personal Story: 

I married my wife, Colleen Gilpin, at the beginning of my internship year in Tucson. We had two children, Trevor and Shannon while I was a resident, and had a third daughter, Megan, later on in life.
