I remained with the department after residency, have done women's health research, was the associate dean for student affairs, and worked with Larry Moher co-directing the Social and Behavioral Sciences course for the College of Medicine. Now I am the department head for Family and Community Medicine. I practice at our University Physicians Healthcare Hospital at the Kino location. My current academic focus is with the department's University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.
Mark and I had a great reverse mid-life crisis- our parenting began in our early forties!
It has been a real privilege to work with the Department of Family and Community Medicine faculty and staff, and facilitate their passionate teaching, service, and research.
Anything that involves hanging out with my family. We spend a lot of time attending my daughter's various sporting events.
