Ricardo Gonzalez

Career Story: 

After residency, I worked for 5 years in Reno at an indigent clinic subsidized by the county; 3.5 years as medical director. I treated everything from CAD/CHF to hepatitis C. I was able to do many procedures since there was limited sub-specialty assistance. I have spent the last 3 years working in private practice and enjoy the change of pace and overall support from the community specialists, as well as from specialist at Stanford, UCSF, and UC Davis.

Playing music to over a thousand people at the First Annual Rockin' Docs show put on by the medical school here

Being medical director for an indigent clinic for almost 4 years

Favorite Recreational Activity: 

Playing music/guitar"_I have even been able to have a little band on the side to play some local shows!

Favorite Memory from Residency: 

Working at El Rio was a great experience and I still often think of the many people I worked with there.
