Patrick Martinez

Career Story: 

After residency, I moved to a small community in western Alaska called Bethel. I lived there for about 8 years practicing extended spectrum family medicine, performing surgery, endoscopy, working in the ER etc. After this I moved to Anchorage where I taught at the Alaska Family medicine program for several years. In the last 6 years I have mainly been working in the ER. I recently moved back to Tucson and I am working in the ER at Holy Cross hospital in Nogales AZ. I'll also be doing some work with the residency. I still go back to Bethel for occasional work, too.

Raising two well adjusted and well rounded children.

Teaching residents in Anchorage, Alaska

Favorite Recreational Activity: 

Flying a floatplane in Alaska.

Favorite Memory from Residency: 

Definitely my community elective and working with the dog catcher.Actually my best memories were my interactions with my patients and staff at the office on Cherry street.

Personal Story: 

I have two wonderful twin girls who are now 12 years old. We love to hike and play tennis together.
