Career Story: 

Finished residency 1982 and worked for CIGNA Healthplan of Tucson for 5 yrs. Then moved to Arlington, Vermont where I set up a solo FP practice in town of 2500 as the town's only physician. Practiced here for 23 yrs now have a nurse practitioner, and a staff of 8. We've been a rural health clinic for 5 years and will be applying for a federal grant to become a federally-qualified community health clinic for the county of Bennington.

Favorite Recreational Activity: 

Basketball, skiing, outdoors, 4 seasons, traveling especially in Europe.

Favorite Memory from Residency: 

Watching the 1980 Olympic Hockey Team beat the Russians in the call room at Kino Hospital, or getting hooked on Dallas (on TV) while on OB call.

Personal Story: 

Wife of 36 yrs Harriet, a professional violinist with the Albany (NY) Symphony, Berkshire Symphony, several smaller ensembles and a elementary music teacher in local school. 2 Daughters, Emily married and living in Cologne Germany as a professional dancer, with a 3 yr old daughter, and Carrie a newly graduated physician's assistant in Denver.
