Katherine Martineau, MD

I was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA. I went to UCLA for undergrad and then worked in the Bay Area of Northern California for a couple of years before moving to Richmond, VA for medical school. I couples matched here with my boyfriend who is doing prelim Medicine and Anesthesia. I’m excited to be back in the west and love Tucson so far. My fellow interns are wonderful and we have had fun exploring the Old Pueblo together. As a family physician, I am excited to have the opportunity to work with a diverse and underserved population as well as being able to be a great advocate for my patients through political advocacy and leadership. On my time off, I enjoy hiking, eating at tasty Tucson restaurants, keeping in touch with friends and family, and hanging out with my kittens Smokey and Birdie.
