After leaving Tucson in 1978, I got an MPH at Harvard, and then worked for 3 years at the CDC, first in Atlanta, then in Seattle. From 1982-2001, I was WA state epidemiologist. From 2001-8, spent half my time in Japan, training field epidemiology. Now I do miscellaneous consulting jobs out of my house in Seattle.
