Why did you choose South Campus FM residency? I chose this residency program because of its robust full-spectrum training, rural and global health experiences, and commitment to underserved and marginalized populations. The residents and faculty sealed the deal for me - everyone here is so genuine and supportive of one another. After my sub-internship at South Campus, I couldn’t picture myself anywhere else!

What do you love most about Tucson? The rich cultural diversity and sense of community here truly make this city special. Tucson also has endless opportunities for adventuring outdoors and unbeatable winters. And, being the first UNESCO City of Gastronomy, it’s the perfect place to indulge my inner foodie!

Tell us about your family (including pets!) My husband and I welcomed our daughter, Ana Sofia, to our family during medical school. We also have a sweet pup named Luna. The two of them are full of energy and make us laugh everyday!

Tell us some fun facts about you!
1: I am the first physician in my family.
2: I love baking and trying new recipes. Definitely a Great British Bake Off wannabe!
3: I have a goal to run a marathon in all 50 states.
