Career Story:
Assigned to site in Roanoke Rapids in 1979 by National Health Service Corps and have been here ever since. Have been Medical Director most of the time and occasionally CEO for past 30 years. I am 100% quality assurance, overseeing internists, family physicians, pediatricians, midlevels, dentists, behaviorist, and pharmacists.

Working with underserved populations and growing practice to 9 sites with 35,000 patients

Going to parties with faculty and residents where everybody felt like friends
Personal Story:
Was married for 22 years but husband died in 2001. Have 2 stepchildren and 3 grandchildren.
