After completing residency I worked in Deming NM for three years to fulfill my National Health Service obligation. I then returned to Tucson and worked for seven years before moving back to my home town of Albuquerque, NM in 1992. Over the past 18 years I have worked as a staff family physician for a local HMO followed by three years of private practice (High Desert Medical Associates). I returned to a staff position for a large medical group. During this time, I also served as a medical director of a local hospice. Four years ago I returned to private practice in Rio Rancho, NM. I contracted for office space of 3400 sq ft. As my practice grew I was able to hire a family nurse practitioner. My practice is still growing and I have a staff of 8. We are currently implementing the electronic medical record. Retirement is several years away as I continue to enjoy the practice of medicine in this setting. My business address is Henry A. Married to Christine for over 37 years. We have three children and 5 grandchildren. Our oldest daughter received her Pharm D this past May and is employed as a home infusion pharmacist. Our second daughter is living in San Antonio, TX where her husband is completing his residency in ENT. They will be moving back to Albuquerque in the summer of 2011. Our son and his wife live in Rio Rancho, NM and he is employed as a firefighter in Santa FE, NM
