Career Story: 

I spent 10 years doing full-spectrum Family Practice in rural California. Although it was a great experience, it was not conducive to longevity of marriage and life. I spent the next 10 years as director of an urgent care associated with a family medicine group. I have now transitioned into a full time occupational practice.

Notable Professional Accomplishments: 

Surviving 30 of medical practice and still enjoying it.Serving in rural Bangladesh for two summers.

Favorite Recreational Activity: 

Bicycling - I love heading into the foothills and going 50 miles!Hiking - especially with my son.

Favorite Memory from Residency: 

Having two kids and finally finishing my training.

Personal Story: 

Married to Joanne for 32 years enjoying an "empty nest."Son, Daniel, age 30 living in town independently.Daughter, Jennifer, age 28, married and had a baby, our first grandchild, in February 2011 (a boy).
