Daniel Luccock, MD

Where are you from? I grew up in Centennial, CO, spent a few years in Boulder, CO, for college and then returned to Centennial before moving to Virginia for medical school.
Why did you choose UA Family Medicine? I have long been interested in Integrative Medicine and UA Tucson is a leader in the field.  I spent a month as a sub-intern in the program and loved the strength of teaching, variety of patient demographics, supportive residency environment, and the many outdoor opportunities in Tucson.  I am thrilled to be heading back West, where the air is dryer, the mountains higher, and the dirt redder.
What are you most excited about for life in Tucson? I am excited to have mountains to bike through and climb on and to finally have some great Mexican food options.
What are your interests or hobbies outside of Medicine? When not being studious, I love skiing, climbing, mountain biking, SCUBA diving, photography, traveling, and spending time with my amazing wife.
What are your professional interests within Medicine? I am interested in preventive and integrative medicine.
Favorite way to spend a day off? Going for a hike/bike/climb/ski and then relaxing in a new brewery.
Top item on your "Bucket list"? Dive with a manta ray.
