After residency at UA went to Idaho for 3 years for National Health Service Corps repayment. I worked there in a migrant farmworker/underserved clinic doing full-spectrum practice. Then back to Tucson to work at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Clinic x 5 years as assistant medical director. Then on faculty at the residency in Tucson x 5years. Did full spectrum clinical work, became FCM clerkship director, and was awarded a grant from the state to do refugee health screenings on all arrivals in Pima Co. Then to be closer to family we moved to Philadelphia suburbs, where I work in a predominantly immigrant family practice, doing outpatient practice only.
Ironman finisher x 2, once in Hawaii.
Founded and directed refugee clinic in the residency '05-'09
I now have two sets of twins: Lance and Nikos (9 years old), and Lily and Jordan (6 years old). Life is full and busy. Still happily married to Rachael.
