Bryan Brown, DO

Where are you from? Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Why did you choose UA Family Medicine? I chose the UA family medicine program because faculty and residents were so friendly and welcoming during my interview - it simply felt like a great fit from the get go! The program not only provides excellent full-spectrum training, but also teaches us integrative medicine and seems to truly care about resident wellness and health.
What are you most excited about for life in Tucson? Coming from Las Vegas, it's nice to live in a city with a slower pace and doesn't have such a big city feel. The people are all so friendly here as well, which is an added bonus!
What are your interests or hobbies outside of Medicine?  Sports, outdoor activities, and traveling. I love playing any and all types of sports and will be hopefully joining some local recreational basketball and soccer leagues in the near future. I'm an avid hiker, but love rock climbing, biking, running, fishing, rafting, and snowboarding as well. Finally, when I am able to get away, I absolutely love to travel. My favorite place I have traveled to thus far would have to be South Africa - it was amazing!!
What are your professional interests within Medicine? Global medicine, integrative medicine, sleep medicine, and sports medicine.
Favorite way to spend a day off? During my days off you'll find me studying (we are life-long learners, you know!), working out, being outdoors, or hanging out with friends!
Top item on your "Bucket list"? By the time I am finished with residency, I would like to have traveled to every continent in the World. I have been to 5 out of 7 so far! Australia and Antarctica are left!
Favorite Arizona getaway? So far, my favorite Arizona getaway would have to be Sedona or the Grand Canyon!
