Why did you choose UA Family Medicine?
I am interested in the full-spectrum family medicine training that this program provides. I am very excited about the opportunities to train in integrative medicine. The program faculty are committed to training excellent physicians in a supportive environment that encourages resident wellness.
What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?
I am looking forward to being closer to my family in Tucson and getting to spend time with them. I love the U of A, and I’m excited to go to sports games again. I’m also very excited to enjoy all of the great food in Tucson, go to my favorite restaurants, and try new places that I haven’t been to before!
What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine?
I love to cook and spend time with friends and family. I like to hike and spend time outdoors. I play the drums, and I am very excited that I got my drums set up in my new place.
What are your professional interests within medicine?
Addiction medicine, integrative medicine, working towards bringing medical care to underserved populations and breaking down barriers to care that exist for marginalized people.
Favorite way to spend a day off?
My perfect day off would include going on a hike, followed by brunch, and relaxing with friends by the pool.
Top item on your "Bucket list"?
Travel, travel, travel. My top “must see” countries right now are Ireland, Spain, Thailand, and New Zealand.
