UA RISE Health & Wellness Center health fair

The University of Arizona’s Camp Wellness and the Pima County Health Department will offer a no cost health fair to the Tucson community on Friday, August 11th from 9 a.m. - noon at the UA RISE Health & Wellness Center, 1030 N. Alvernon Way.

The health fair will offer vaccinations for COVID, Hepatitis A and Mpox, and provide reproductive health screenings that will aid in the detection and treatment of potential health issues. Together with Pima County Health Department, the UA RISE Health & Wellness Center Health Fair aims to prioritize collaboration, improve individuals’ health and well-being, and build a stronger community.

Attendees are invited to tour Camp Wellness, located in the UA RISE Health & Wellness Center, where the inclusive environment enables all to feel welcome and supported in their recovery and health journey. Information will be provided for those interested in becoming a certified Recovery Support Specialist, and Naloxone kits (a life-saving opioid overdose reversal drug that can be used by anyone) will be available compliments of Project FUTRE, while supplies last. Camp Wellness’ programs focus on personal fitness, recovery, nutrition, mental health, and overall well-being.

Camp Wellness is a program of the UA RISE Health & Wellness Center, housed within the UArizona Department of Family and Community Medicine. The Pima County Health Department is committed to providing accessible and affordable healthcare to all members of the community.
