Wellness Recovery Action Program®

Mary Ellen Copeland’s
Wellness Recovery Action Program® or WRAP®

The Wellness Recovery Action Plan® or WRAP® is a structured system with nine individual sections created for monitoring uncomfortable and distressing feelings and behaviors.  A planned response is then facilitated to ultimately reduce, modify, and/or eliminate these feelings and behaviors. The WRAP includes a plan of action for assistance from others when participants cannot make decisions, take care of themselves, or keep themselves safe. Participants who are using this system indicate that by helping them feel prepared, their overall quality of life is improved. As an evidence based practice, WRAP has proven to decrease hospitalization, crisis interventions and deterioration of a Person’s own Self-Driven and Defined Recovery.

Trainings are held at: 2302 East Speedway #204, Tucson, AZ 85719

“The task is not to become normal, the task is to take up your journey of recovery and become who you are called to be.”
