Academic / Professional Bio: 

Before joining the Department of Family and Community Medicine in 2018, Dr. Schembre was an associate professor in the Department of Behavioral Science, Division of OVP, Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She also served as the director of the Bionutrition Research Core, and director of resources at the Center for Energy Balance in Cancer Prevention and Survivorship.
