Why did you choose South Campus FM residency?: I wanted a program that can train me to be a well-rounded physician and human being, so that I can continue to become a stronger advocate and ally in underserved communities. South Campus Family Medicine Residency is that program.
What do you love most about Tucson?: I like the perpetual promise of heat and sunlight here in Tucson and the view of the Catalinas and roadrunners on my daily commutes.
Tell us about your family: In my family, there’s my mom and three sisters; my cousins, aunts, and uncles; my nieces and nephews, and my grandma. During Christmas breaks in Southern California, we would go on frequent late night boba runs.
1: I lost the car keys three times once while going on a day-long hiking trip.
2: For Christmas, I gifted my grandma two plastic bottles of water, filled of course.
3: I am working towards getting a sleeve tattoo and a big dog.
