Elizabeth Moran

Career Story:

I worked for several years at Whittier Street Health Center (www.wshc.org), a busy federally qualified health center in Roxbury, MA an underserved, ethnically diverse neighborhood in Boston. Patients include long-time residents of Roxbury, recently arrived immigrants and refugees, post prison release patients, HIV+ patients, homeless patients, large number of patients with substance abuse issues (I have a suboxone license), and large numbers of patients with significant mental illnesses. I then moved back to Tucson and started working on the residency faculty in 2011.

Notable Personal Accomplishments:

Climbed Kilimanjaro this past summer with friends I met during the Integrative Medicine one month elective in Tucson

Favorite Recreational Activity:

Outdoor activities more challenging in the cold Northeast than in sunny Tucson!
