Why did you choose South Campus FM residency?
I chose SCFM because it’s mission aligned perfectly with my interest to explore and serve rural AZ communities, as well as offering individualized global health opportunities. I also thought this program had the most rad residents I had met along the interview trail.
What do you love most about Tucson?
The food is incredible, the people are friendly, and the sunsets can’t be beat!
Tell us about your family (including pets!)
I’m so lucky to have an amazing (and large) extended family who mostly live in TX. I have 2 dogs (both mutts) who live with my parents in Phoenix, and a Cockatiel named Tequila who’s brightened my life since the 6th grade.
Tell us some fun facts about you!
1: I’m obsessed with Japanese candy.
2: I danced Ballet Folklorico for 10 years.
3: I’ve been involved in global health projects in Africa, India, and Nepal - and can’t wait to go back!
