HIV and AIDS: A Self Paced Training Manual Produced by the Arizona AIDS Education and Training Center at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine. This is a medical assistant training manual designed for ancillary health workers (like MAs and CNAs). It is at a moderate reading level and is designed to be self-paced with a test at the end that clinical supervisors can administer and easily grade. Since many clinics have a high degree of turnover in their ancillary health staff this allows the clinic to bring the new workers up to speed on the basics of HIV 101.
