Frank Hale, PhD
Frank A. Hale, PhD., is Professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He recently retired as a full-time faculty member; however he remains on the faculty. He formerly directed the Faculty Development Program, the Department's annual Primary Care Update Conference and teaches in the Family Practice core months.
Dr. Hale's interests include community based primary care education, faculty development, health promotion and disease prevention, international health, rural medicine and the use of technology to enhance learning. He is a member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and is immediate past Chair of STFM's National Program Committee.
