Diverse underserved urban populations, e.g. "notch group" uninsured; Pascua Yaqui, Mexican-American, Homeless/SMI

  • 1/2 to 1 day per week for most students at Pascua Health Center
  • Patients advocate program in large full-service community health clinic
  • Rotation could include time spent at all three clinics

Flex-time Activities:

  • Homeless patient outreach clinic with family nurse practitioner
  • "Triage" of walk-in patients
  • Opportunities exist for urgent care experience

Sliding scale for "notch group"; AHCCCS; some HMO
