The University Of Arizona College Of Medicine’s AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC), a HRSA funded program, has been asked by the Arizona Department of Health Services to assess barriers to HIV testing in Emergency Department settings.  As you may know, the CDC has recommended that all people know their HIV status, and has suggested Emergency Departments may be one site for screening patients who do not have regular medical care. The information collected in this survey will help us identify barriers, make recommendations and provide training to any hospitals interested in considering any HIV testing in emergency departments.

We have a short survey that will help us collect this information. The form is available in Survey Monkey or in hard copy. The link to the Survey Monkey form is:
